The dining room table always seems to be the hub the home revolves around from Thanksgiving supper to game night and everything in between. It’s a place to catch up on the day's events, share stories and make memories. The captain's table is crafted to last and will be a part of generations of memories. Its top is crafted from maple sitting on a walnut base set diagonally to the top it makes for an eye-catching double take to make sense of things the walnut base has been accented with its namesake ( captains bars ) set in maple to strengthen the mitre joint and adding just a touch of contrast. The top easily separates from the base for easy transport and securely re-attaches in moments.

 

MATERIALS

 

The Captain's Table is a bit of a heavyweight in its class, its solid maple top is 1 ¾  inches thick and comes in at around 100 lbs but don’t worry it has the legs to hold it all up crafted. They’re crafted from solid 5-inch by 1 ¾ thick walnut. The table has been finished with a water base polyurethane clear coat, the base having received 5 coats and the top 8 for just a bit more durability to stand the test of time.

The table stands 39 inches tall 96 inches long and 40 inches deep will easily seat 6 people, 8 comfortably but that’s assuming they keep their elbows to themselves.
